Montucky Clear CUT

Montucky Clear CUT is North America’s premier alpine snowboard carving event, hosted annually at Turner Mountain near Libby, Montana.
The name itself breaks down the event's local charm: Montucky is a playful nickname for rural Montana, Clear represents the wide-open, private slopes, and CUT stands for "Carve Up Turner".
Event Highlights
    • Private Mountain Access: The event organizers rent out the entirety of Turner Mountain for four days, making it exclusively available to registered snowboard carvers.
    • Flawless Grooming: Dedicated grooming machines and operators are brought in specifically to lay down immaculate, wide corduroy perfectly tailored for deep trench-digging carves.
    • Clinics & Demos: Attendees get direct access to instructional carving clinics and can demo specialized hardboot and softboot equipment from top carving brands like Donek Snowboards.
    • Charitable Cause: Run as a non-profit fundraiser, all proceeds from the ticket sales and raffles directly benefit the Turner Mountain Volunteer Ski Patrol and the local Libby economy.

Status Update (2027 Season)
  • 2027 Season: The organizers have announced that February 1–4, 2027 will be the event's "Last Chair" final edition. Registration for this final gathering is scheduled to open on September 5, 2026
